Best Easter Ever!
Last Sunday was such an amazing day with the Lord. It began with a powerful Sunrise service with 57 in attendance. There were so many wonderful testimonies about God’s faithfulness. We will not soon forget the words that were spoken from people who are facing difficult days but God is seeing them through. Following the sunrise service, the Sulsers once again provided an amazing breakfast. The grits were especially perfectly made. Then the Resurrection service at 10:30 saw a crowd of over 220 people gather. The singing rang out as we proclaimed to the world that Jesus is risen. The children and the choir brought beautiful songs and Dez and Brianna Roof dedicated Sophia and Niko to the Lord. The Lord blessed me with the perfect message for the hour and several responded by coming to the altar. Then to cap off the service, eight believers were baptized. It truly was the best Easter ever.
Lili Lowrimore Competes In Regional Bible Quiz in Atlanta
On Saturday, Lili Lowrimore will compete against children quizzers from all across the Southeastern states. She received this honor by her high finish in the state competition. We are so proud of her hard work and dedication throughout the year. Acts has been the book she and the other quizzers have studied. A big thank you to her coaches, Ann Shaw and Martha Romanstine. Please pray for safe travels and a great time for all.
Steak Supper Fundraiser: Next Saturday From 4-7
We are known throughout our community for the wonderful steak supper we have each year. Jeff Williams does
such an excellent job of putting this event together. But he depends on us to sell and purchase tickets. Jeff will have plenty on Sunday to distribute. The cost for a steak dinner that includes a salad and a baked potato is $18 while the hamburger meal and the chicken bog supper goes for $10. There will be plenty of desserts for purchase as well. We are always looking for volunteers to help us serve and welcome our neighbors.

Yard Sale: Next Saturday From 8-12
Along with our steak supper fundraiser, we will have a yard sale at our church. Entrepreneurs can purchase a table for $15 and then keep all the profits that will come in. Afterwards, we ask all “leftover” items be removed so that we can get ready for the steak supper.
Cutting the Church’s Lawn Ministry
There are a variety of ways we can serve the Lord. One such option is by mowing the grass at the church. We have the riding lawn mowers and even the weed eaters and blowers. We just need your help. The signup sheet will be in the foyer. Thank you for your service.
Fellowship Breakfast on Tuesday At 9 AM
Our church will gather at the Lizard’s Ticket in Oak Grove for our monthly time of fellowship and prayer. The food will nourish our bodies and our conversations will encourage our hearts. Please join us.

Wednesday Nights are Growing
Wednesday nights are full of excitement at WCFN.
Our children’s bible groups are growing each week.
We couldn’t be happier!
But, we could use a few helpers that love children.
If you would like to be a part of influencing a child’s life, please talk to Regina.
It’s a wonderful experience and, of course, our kids are the best!
Food Pantry Drive
Our monthly food pantry has grown to provide nourishment for
around 30-35 families. While we are grateful for everyone who is
bringing in goods, we realize there might be some who would like
to sponsor a family each month. The estimated cost
of the couple of bags of groceries is $30. We’d love to get 30 donors! Please let
Anne Shaw know if this might be your way of assisting this
important program and pick up a magnet in the foyer.

Encouraged By People’s Giving
People have been giving to the Lord and the church. We can’t tell you how much this means to us. There are five ways one can give. We have resumed Sunday morning worship services at 11 am at the church so you may bring your offerings with you. Many like to use the church’s secure website (wcfn316.com) to give their tithes and offerings. A few might like to text their gift to 803-219-4288. While others will mail it to the church at 350 Wattling Rd, West Columbia SC 29170. If you would like me to pick it up or if you would like to drop it off at the church, please just call me to set up a time. Again thank you for your faithfulness.
