WCFN Hires Summer Mangicaro As Part Time Worship Leader
This Sunday, Pastor Summer Mangicaro will begin her new assignment as our part-time worship leader. Since she is currently a full-time student at Columbia International University as a Music major and has other obligations elsewhere, she will only be with us one Sunday a month. (Most often the third Sunday) We believe Summer will enhance our worship experience by introducing us to new songs and with her guitar accompaniment. Let’s be praying for Summer as she begins this new assignment. Hopefully this is the beginning of a wonderful journey for her and us. The song selections for Sunday are below. Check these songs out to be better prepared to worship.
“Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me” @
“Good, Good Father” @
“What A Beautiful Name” @

Pastor Geoff served as Pastor of Columbia First Church of the Nazarene before going on to be District Superintendent of the Northwest Ohio district. He is currently director of Stewardship Development for the General Nazarene Church. This Sunday promises to be a wonderful time with the Lord.

The Church Want Ads
Ice Maker Repair Person
Our ice maker in the Family Life Center is no longer working. If you have the ability to fix such a machine,
please see Pastor Bill or MG Black who oversees the maintenance items at the church.
A Used Washer
Mrs. Edie McAdams is a precious lady who is unable to attend church because of physical afflictions. This
week, her washer quit on her and she is looking for a replacement. Her funds are limited. Please see Pastor
Bill or Pastor Regina if you know of one that might be available.
Lawn Care Specialist
The church is grateful to those who cut our grass. A nice kept lawn speaks to our community about how
much we value our church. If you would like to give a couple of hours to mowing our lawn, please sign up in
the foyer at the church. We have all the necessary equipment needed.

Wednesday Nights are Growing
Wednesday nights are full of excitement at WCFN.
Our children’s bible groups are growing each week.
We couldn’t be happier!
But, we could use a few helpers that love children.
If you would like to be a part of influencing a child’s life, please talk to Regina.
It’s a wonderful experience and, of course, our kids are the best!

Food Pantry Drive
Our monthly food pantry has grown to provide nourishment for
around 30-35 families. While we are grateful for everyone who is
bringing in goods, we realize there might be some who would like
to sponsor a family each month. The estimated cost
of the couple of bags of groceries is $30. We’d love to get 30 donors! Please let
Anne Shaw know if this might be your way of assisting this
important program and pick up a magnet in the foyer.

Encouraged By People’s Giving
People have been giving to the Lord and the church. We can’t tell you how much this means to us. There are five ways one can give. We have resumed Sunday morning worship services at 11 am at the church so you may bring your offerings with you. Many like to use the church’s secure website (wcfn316.com) to give their tithes and offerings. A few might like to text their gift to 803-219-4288. While others will mail it to the church at 350 Wattling Rd, West Columbia SC 29170. If you would like me to pick it up or if you would like to drop it off at the church, please just call me to set up a time. Again thank you for your faithfulness.

Letter From Pastor Bill

Hello Friends,

Greetings from my Lazy Boy chair! For those who didn't hear, I had foot surgery on Wednesday to repair two tendons. Everything went well, but I need to limit my amount of time on my feet. Because of this, Dr. Geoff Kunselman will preach for me on Sunday. I am happy to announce that we have hired Summer Mangicaro to be our part-time worship pastor. She will be with us on the third Sunday of each month. Summer is in her second year at Columbia International University majoring in music. I know you all will make her feel welcome on her first official Sunday. As far as prayer requests, please remember Cindy Moody who is in the Lexington hospital. Also ask God to touch in a special way for Don Freeman. Others we are lifting up to the Lord are Jim Lowrimore, Curtis Martin, Terry Hook, Nancy Hall, Hope Addison and her relative, Jackson Lowrimore, Jessica Lewis' son's friend and all of our shut-ins. Rachael Watts' surgery was postponed. Thank you for your prayers and concerns. Looking forward to worship this weekend.

God Bless,

Pastor Bill
